Driving Business Growth and Managing Organisational Change for Continu.

Working directly to the Board and Managing Director, Strategy Matters was commissioned to support Continu in delivering on an ambitious 3–5 year vision for significant growth and organisational change.


Over a 6-month period, AHGC worked across all departments — Finance, Sales, Operations, and HR — to establish the business systems, tools, and governance needed to manage growth in a structured, controlled way. The focus was on linking strategic milestones to short-term, measurable, and accountable objectives.


Key Activities


Vision Breakdown and Goal Setting

  • Facilitated initial workshops with the full team to break down the 5-year vision into annual and quarterly objectives and key results (OKRs).

  • Established annual goals under five strategic pillars: Team | Revenue Growth | Operations | Innovation | Customer Success.

  • Proposed and agreed OKR structures based on AHGC’s 25+ years’ experience in business growth and change management.


Department-Level Planning

  • Worked with each department to identify risks and challenges to achieving annual goals.

  • Developed strategic work programmes and initiatives to support each pillar.

  • Agreed 4–6 quarterly objectives per department, each linked to measurable key results assigned to team members.


Accountability and Reporting

  • Introduced a quarterly review meeting for the whole team to build transparency and accountability.

  • Facilitated the first two quarterly meetings as part of the contract.

  • Designed a simple reporting framework for owners to track and present progress, which is now used to review and reset departmental objectives each quarter.


Results and Impact

  • Provided a clear, measurable structure for delivering on the 5-year vision.

  • Created a culture of accountability where every team member can see their role in achieving the company’s growth goals.

  • Helped avoid silo working by gaining buy-in from all stakeholders across the business.

  • Continu is now two years into its change programme and is on track to achieve its long-term goals.

  • Based on the success of the initial contract, AHGC has been retained to continue facilitating quarterly team meetings and support the development of ongoing change objectives.
